This report presents the outcome of a Dialogue Workshop “The Threat of Terrorist Groups in the Euro-Mediterranean”, held in Cairo on 5 November 2015.

The aim of the Workshop, gathering 20 participants, including researchers, academics, civil society and policy makers, was to discuss the initial research findings of the Joint Policy Study. Participants discussed in particular the reasons behind joining terrorist groups, the recruitment methods used by terrorist groups and the role of international and regional actors.
