On 31 January, UfM Secretary General Nasser Kamel presented the UfM priorities and work programme for 2019 to the Directorate-Generals in charge of the thematic areas of action of the UfM. Nasser met with the Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn, to express his gratitude for the constant support the European Commission has given to the UfM. The European Commission and the UfM look forward to continue achieving impact together, Nasser and Hahn commented later on social media: “We look very much forward to continue working hand in hand towards more stability and development in the EuroMed region for all our citizens”.
