Turkey has already deported 21 foreign fighters
21 foreign terrorist fighters of seven different nationalities have been deported by Turkey since 11 November, according to Turkish Interior Ministry. Among those fighters sent back to their country of origin are 13 German, two Belgian, two Danish, one British, one American and an Irish. Ministry sources also informed that 938 foreign fighters remain in repatriation centres, waiting to be sent back. On 4 November, Interior Minister Suleyman Solyu had announced that Turkey would start repatriating ISIS fighters back to Western countries despite their refusal, since many of them have been stripped off their nationality.
