Turkey arrests 1.112 people over links with Gulen’s organization
On 12 February, Turkish prosecutors ordered the arrest of 1.112 people accused to collaborate with the “Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO). This operation is one of the biggest judiciary operations against Gulen’s supporters since the putsch. Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said on Sunday a “big operation” was looming against Gulen supporters. “Devils would not perpetrate deceptions like they have,” he said. “We will finish them off.” Since 2016 more than 77.000 people were arrested by Turkish authorities, accused to be involved in the putsch.
