Morocco and the UK sign an association agreement to mitigate Brexit’s consequences
On 26 October, the Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and the UK Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa Andrew Murrison signed in London an continuity agreement in order to ensure that all the benefit of the EU-Morocco free trade agreement will continue after the Brexit. During the meeting in London, the two delegations also signed a political declaration related to the access of all the Moroccan products to the UK market, “including those from the from the Moroccan Sahara region”. The agreement will enter into force once Brexit takes place.
