Jordan-Saudi business forum aims to boost investment and commercial relations
The Jordan-Saudi business forum took place in Amman on 4 November, organized by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) and the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC). The forum is aimed at enhancing economic relations between the two countries and boosting commercial and investment cooperation, with particular attention to the private sector. Besides, the Saudi delegation visited several governmental economic institutions in the Kingdom. On the sidelines of the event, bilateral meetings took place between Saudi business people and Jordanian companies working on the sectors of food, petrochemical, consulting, industrial constructions, real-estate, medical, electricity, energy and renewable energies, among others. Economic relations with Saudi Arabia are of great importance to Jordan, whose exports to the Saudi Kingdom amounted to JD342 million during the first eight months of 2019.
