Israeli military court sentences soldiers for acts of violence against Palestinians
On 10 March an Israeli military court confirmed the sentence for three Israeli soldiers responsible for committing acts of violence against detained Palestinians. In a statement, the Israeli army declared: “The military court sentenced three combat soldiers who were convicted as part of a plea bargain for aggravated abuse as a result of violence against Palestinian detainees”. The facts took place in West Bank on 13 December when the members of the Israeli army decided to react after a Palestinian killed two Israeli soldiers in a bus stop.
