EuroMeSCo has inaugurated the cycle of regular exchanges between its experts on specific countries and EU Policy makers, in particular representatives from the EU Council working group dealing with Maghreb-Mashrek (“MaMa”).

The first edition of the EuroMeSCo Policy Briefings facilitated by the European Institute of the  Mediterranean took place in the headquarters of the European External Action Service in Brussels on  Wednesday 22 June. The exchange of views focused on Libya. Together with Emmanuel Cohen-Hadria  (IEMed) who introduced the session, Wolfram Lacher (SWP, Berlin) and Ziad Akl (ACPSS, Cairo)  represented EuroMeSCo.
