Coordinated by Manale Abou Dagher, the Policy Study “Climate-Induced Internal Displacement in MENA Countries“ focuses on internal displacement risks related to climate in a region which is severly afflicted by the consequences of climate change. Millions of people are at risk of displacement due to rising sea levels, water scarcity, and extreme weather events.

The study also underscores the need for a holistic approach that considers the root causes of migration, and it highlights the importance of long-term adaptation and resilience mechanisms for affected communities.
