EuroMeSCo examines the new dynamics in the Eastern Mediterranean
Over 25 participants, including EuroMeSCo researchers, experts and academics attended a workshop on “New Euro-Mediterranean Dynamics in the Eastern Mediterranean”, organised by MIVTIM in cooperation with ELIAMEP on 10 November in Athens. The workshop was hosted by the Representation of the European Commission in Greece.
The workshop aimed at presenting and discussing the initial research results of the Joint Policy Study. Participants analysed various factors that may constitute both opportunities and threats to an increasing cooperation between some Eastern Mediterranean countries, such as newfound energy reserves and the war in Syria.
The event was organised in the framework of the EuroMeSCo ENI Project, co-funded by the EU and the IEMed.
