On 12 November the EuroMeSCo workshop on Cooperation with Religious Institutions as a European Policy Tool took place in Warsaw. The meeting gathered researchers from the network, practitioners and academics.
The workshop examined the scope and impact of cooperation between European policy-making actors and religious institutions on preventing violent extremism, conflict resolution, integration and migration, as well as between religious institutions themselves, both in Europe and the MENA region, with the purpose to provide recommendations for a better European policy formulation.
The event was organised by Polish Institute of International Affairs, in the framework of the EuroMeSCo ENI Project, co-funded by the EU and the IEMed.
The final research findings will be published in a Joint Policy Study, to be released in March 2019.
