EuroMeSCo contributes to the reflection on the ENP revision

The EuroMeSCo network held its annual conference on 8-9 October. The event was organised in Milan in partnership with the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI).
The annual gathering aimed at reviewing the state of the Euro-Mediterranean cooperation, analysing the factors behind the success and failure over the past 20 years of relations. A list of proposals on how to improve the relations between the EU and the Southern and Southeastern Mediterranean countries was put forward.
The event counted with the participation of the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Paolo Gentiloni; Miguel Angel Moratinos, Former Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation; Fathallah Sijilmassi, Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean; Michael Koehler, Director Neighbourhood South at DG Near; and Christian Berger, Director for North Africa, Middle East, Arabian Peninsula, Iran and Iraq at the European External Action Service.
