Mission and objectives

Founded in 2011, iReMM0 is an independent think tank composed of a pluri-disciplinary team of experts (researchers, journalists, diplomats, professors) who provide analysis and research to policy makers on various issues related to the Mediterranean and the Middle East (economy, society, geopolitics). Also, iReMMO provides specific trainings and expertise on Middle Eastern issues to actors in the public and private sectors. In addition to that, the institute disseminates knowledge on the Middle East and Mediterranean region to foster public debates by organizing regular trainings, lectures and conferences. Their lectures are recorded and available for replay on their website and social media (YouTube).

iReMMO’s field of research are geopolitics (international relations, security,…), economy (migration, labor market,…) and society (religious movements, demographics, social movements,…). The center intervenes in the public sphere through publications, conferences, meetings, public speeches as well as training and research programs. They work in tandem with national and international media, as well as many institutional, academic and civil society partners in France and abroad.
