Mission and objectives

Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI) University is an international university based in Slovenia, established in 2008. It represents one of the six priority priorities of the Union for the Mediterranean. The mission of the University is to contribute towards an integrated higher education area in the Mediterranean and thus to strengthening Euro-Mediterranean partnership, as endeavoured by the Barcelona process and the Union for the Mediterranean.

To further its mission, EMUNI implements study programmes at the postgraduate level, from master programmes to summer schools and professional upgrading courses; conducts research; integrates a network of over 120 research and higher education institutions of different nations and cultures in the academic spheres; and ensures administrative, operational and material infrastructure for the implementation of any other activities fostering its mission.
