Mission and objectives

CiRAM is a multidisciplinary center at the University of Macerata, devoted to research and training. CiRAM encourages analysis, understanding and cooperation through the organisation of seminars, research projects, debates, conferences and publications, in addition to a broad cultural programme. It also provids specialized advice to national and local institutions, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations and private entities operating in its research areas of interest.

 

CiRAM’s expertise in research and training includes the field of the law of the sea, environmental protection, governance of migration flows, and analysis of political and economic integration processes in the Euro-Mediterranean area.
CiRAM is a member of PAM (Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean) Academic Platform
