Casa Árabe
Mission and objectives
Casa Árabe was founded in 2006 as a Spanish public consortium headed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation. In order to complete its mission, Casa Árabe has two headquarters, one located in Madrid and the other in Cordoba. It is operated as a strategic center for Spain’s relations with the Arab world, a meeting point where different actors and institutions, both private and public, from the worlds of business, education, academia, politics and culture can engage in dialogue, interact, establish lines of cooperation and undertake joint projects.
Casa Árabe is an active platform and tool for Spain’s public diplomacy, promoting economic relations, spreading knowledge, channeling inter-cultural dialogue and analyzing and mediating in the socio-political changes which are affecting Arab and Muslim countries.
