The pillar of the Joint Communication focusing on strengthening resilience, building prosperity, and seizing the digital transition addresses important issues linked to sustainable development. Among the many challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought to light, digitalisation is certainly one of the most pressing for the recovery of the Euro-Mediterranean region. During the 2021 EuroMeSCo Annual Conference, the case of Tunisia was showcased as exemplary of the need to digitalise economic and governance models in the region, where obsolete legal frameworks have impeded change. This event aims to provide a tour d’horizon of the challenges and opportunities related to the digital transition in Tunisia.
