Tunisia: six years of democratic transition

Tunisia has been practicing for six years a new democratic political life. The institutions have been created and a  new  constitution drafted with political consensus has been approved. The transition, however, runs into obstacles  and  faces dangers that have been analyzed  at a seminar in Helsinki organized by the Finnish Institute of International  Affairs (FIIA), in the framework of the EuroMeSCo ENI Project.


Dialogue Workshop on Transformation in Tunisia

On 4 November, the Finnish Institute for International Affairs, in cooperation with Centre des études méditerranéennes et internationales (Tunisia), organised a workshop on political and social developments in Tunisia since the revolution.

Dialogue Workshop on Migration Challenges in the EU Transit and Destination Countries

On 26 October, the Institute of Foreign Affairs and Trade hosted a workshop in Budapest on challenges related to the influx of migrants and refugees into the selected EU transit and destination countries.

Dialogue Workshop on Future of Syria

Last October 11, the Global Political Trends Center organised in Istanbul a workshop entitled "Future of Syria".


Local Presentation "Migrant and Refugees. Impact and Future Policies"

On 22 March in Amman the Center for Strategic Studies organised a seminar to present the final results of the Working Group on "Migrants and Refugees: Impact and Future Policies. Case studies of Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon, Italy, Spain and Greece". The seminar was held in the framework of the EuroMeSCo ENI Project, co-financed by the European Union and the European Institute of the Mediterranean.
