EuroMeSCo has been ranked number 9 best think tank network in the world, according to the University of Pennsylvania Global Go To Think Tank Index Report for 2016.

The impact of think tanks on Euro-Mediterranean policies

The main network of think tanks on policy and security in the Mediterranean, EuroMeSCo, held a workshop at the IEMed (Barcelona) with representatives of European institutions dedicated to external action. The aim was to share the perspectives of the European institutions for the Euro-Mediterranean agenda and to discuss how think tanks influence the definition of appropriate Euro-Mediterranean policies.




EuroMeSCo participated in the debates on youth in the II Regional Forum of the Union for the Mediterranean


The network of research centres EuroMeSCo and the IEMed have collaborated with the Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) on organising the 2nd Regional Forum of the UfM, this time focused on youths and their role in stability and development in the Mediterranean.

New EuroMeSCo Report Released

This report summarizes the main findings of the Dialogue Workshop "Transformation in Tunisia: The First Five Years" that took place on 4 November 2016. The event took place in the framework of a research group coordinated by Wolfgang Muhlberger from the Finnish Institute of International Affairs under the EuroMeSCo ENI Project.

The final results of this research group will be published in the forthcoming Joint Policy Study, with participation of Emmanuel Cohen-Hadria (IEMed), Cengiz Gunay (OIIP), Sherin Gharib (OIIP), Isabel Schafer (DIE) and Stefano Torelli (ISPI).
