Have Your Say: Annapolis Conference and Beyond
 After a seven-year freeze in the peace process, the U.S. hosted on 27 November 2007 a Middle East peace conference at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, United States – more commonly known as the Annapolis Conference.
The announced goal of the meeting was to jump start negotiations leading to a comprehensive agreement on resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, along the lines of President Bush's roadmap for peace, and the establishment of a Palestinian state (in Gaza and the West Bank) by the end of 2008.
