The Center for Applied Policy Research (C·A·P) is an university-based think tank. It is affiliated with the Geschwister-Scholl-Institute for Political Science at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich. The C·A·P projects address issues related to European integration, Europe’s role in international affairs, modern governance, transformations processes, global future, political culture and programmes for civic education and training.

Objectives of the Euromed/Middle East programme(s)
CAP is the largest university based think tank on European Affairs in Germany, it cooperates with the German Government, the European Commission and various international organisations and research networks. In its Middle East Programme CAP conducts research on Europe’s relations with Middle Eastern countries and implements training programmes for students and young professionals from the region.
